What Does 20/20 Vision Mean?

Book Appointment

As your eye doctor, I often get asked, “What does 20/20 vision mean?” Let me explain it simply!

When you have 20/20 vision, it means you can see clearly at 20 feet what most people with normal eyesight can see at that same distance. It’s a way of measuring how sharp your vision is. So, if you have 20/20 vision, your eyesight is great at normal distances!

But don’t worry if you don’t have 20/20 vision. Glasses or contact lenses can help you see better if your vision isn’t as sharp. Regular eye exams help us check your vision and keep your eyes healthy.

Your eye health is important, so if you ever feel like things are looking blurry, we’re here to help at Perception Eyecare! Call/text us at 289-309-1090 to schedule an appointment.
